IAC Launches the Multicultural, Multigenerational Working Group on Reframing DEI

Together with our strategic alliances, IDEAS Generation and the Institute for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion, IAC has launched the Multicultural, Multigenerational Working Group on Reframing DEI. To prepare for the launch, we met with PR and Political experts and sent out grant applications. 

The objective of the Working Group is the identification and implementation of innovative strategies, related action plans, and implementation pledges for reframing, strengthening and sustaining DEI that will result in:

• Proactive Advocacy

• Increase in practitioners, leaders, and stakeholder’s confidence and skills to stand up, speak out and take action to support DEI 

• Positive media coverage for DEI

• Advancement of policies, practices, and procedures in support of DEI

  The Working Group's focus will be to create a "Path Forward" to:

  •  Influence and impact public opinion

  •  Influence the development and passage of legislation and public policy

  •  Influence the development and implementation of pro-DEI policies,
      practices, and procedures with corporate and non-profit sectors 

  •  Influence organizational/agency policy, practices and procedures

  •  Start and sustain DEI initiatives in today’s political climate

  •  Address and pushback against attacks in today’s political climate  

  •  Activate pro-DEI influencers
