We are delighted to announce that on March 19th we launched our second IAC Community: The Career Resiliency Community. This Community was requested by the many IAC members who have lost jobs and work as a result of the anti-DEI attacks and the federal government eliminating DEI work and positions in government agencies.
At our launch meeting, members introduced themselves and explained that they joined the Community for:
Giving/Getting Support
Future-Proofing Career/Finding a Job
Finding Community and Networking
Accessing Resources
Members included those looking for jobs/work and those who are professional career coaches, During the meeting, they were introduced to the Community's web page on the Membership Portal and brainstormed topics for upcoming meetings. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:30 ET. Members and Non-Members are welcome!
Our other Community: IAC Embattled States Community has been meeting for over a year. It is also open to members and non-members and welcomes new members throughout the year. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 4:00-5:30. Members take turn hosting the Community meetings.
