Are you ready to facilitate conversations that build understanding rather than deepen divides? In today’s polarized climate, DEI practitioners are often challenged to create workplace environments that bridge differences and promote collaboration. Can anything be done to prevent political tensions in the country from undermining morale and engagement in our work teams? Dr. David Campt of The Dialogue Company thinks the answer is “yes!” Dr Campt will lead our December 17 session that will include both instruction, practice and interaction. The session is designed to prepare you to facilitate conversations about political/social issues that will reduce tensions instead of raising them. After delivering his research, insights and examples about the underlying structure of high-quality dialogue exchanges that are applicable in a wide variety of situations, participants will have a chance to apply the dialogue model in a conversation about a difficult, but important DEI-related political/ social issue of their choice. The session is intended to leave participants both empowered and equipped to transform moments of difficulty into opportunities for dialogue--in the workplace, and among family and friends. Speaker and Subject Matter Expert, Dr. David Campt, Founder & Principal, The Dialogue Company, LLC
