America has decided. The presidential election is over; the outcome is out of our control. But that also means, for many of us, our emotions may be out of control as we face an anti-DEI future. With this in mind our November webinar will have two parts – the first devoted to allowing us to share our feelings, and the second to what we need to do as individuals as a result of the election. We have full control over our choices moving forward. Helplessness, fear and blame are not the answer. This will only expand the chasm of polarization. This is the time to show up collectively, to move ourselves, our teams and organizations forward towards continued progress, inclusion and psychological safety. As we double down on protecting what we have built and challenge anti-DEI policies, while continuing to move the work forward, we need to be prepared to engage in conversations across party lines and to have tough conversations with curiosity, empathy and humility. Our facilitator, Farah Bala, CEO, Farsight, will help us do this. Whether you are a consultant, or a team leader, this highly interactive and reflective session will explore: - why our capacity to engage in Healthy Conflict is essential in today's highly polarized times - the mindset needed to build our own resilience with disagreement and conflict - why our courage, curiosity and humility are our superpowers at this time. In small groups, we will practice dialogues around heated topics where we will engage in curated conversations in an activity that will push our current understanding of what it is to be curious. We look forward to being in community with you as we face these challenging times.
