<title>IAC Launches the Multicultural, Multigenerational Working Group on Reframing DEI</title>

<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Together with our strategic alliances, IDEAS Generation and the Institute for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion, IAC has launched the Multicultural, Multigenerational Working Group on Reframing DEI. <title>IAC Launches Career Resiliency Community</title>

<description><![CDATA[<p>We are delighted to announce that on March 19th we launched our second IAC Community:<strong> The Career Resiliency Community.&nbsp;</strong>This Community was requested by the many IAC members who have lost jobs and work as a result of the anti-DEI attacks and the federal government eliminating DEI work and positions in government agencies.</p><p>At our launch meeting, members introduced themselves and explained that they joined the Community for:</p><ul><li>Giving/Getting Support</li><li>Future-Proofing Career/Finding a Job</li><li>Finding Community and Networking</li><li>Accessing Resources</li></ul><p>Members included those looking for jobs/work and those who are professional career coaches, During the meeting, they were introduced to the Community's web page on the Membership Portal and brainstormed topics for upcoming meetings. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:30 ET. Members and Non-Members are welcome!</p><p>Our other Community: <b>IAC Embattled States Community </b>has been meeting for over a year. It is also open to members and non-members and welcomes new members throughout the year. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 4:00-5:30. Members take turn hosting the Community meetings.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

<title>IAC Launches DEI Embattled States Community</title>

Members will be supported by IAC Leadership and Committees.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 7pt; line-height: 20pt; font-size: 12pt; margin-left: 40px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span><span style="font-weight: 700; font-size: 1.75em; text-align: center; font-family: inherit; color: #7f0b87;">Why Are We Launching This Community Within IAC?</span></p></div><div id="cpContentOut" class="col-sm-12" style="box-sizing: border-box; float: left; width: 938.6px; margin-bottom: 40px; color: #304457; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: #ffffff;"><div id="eventList" class="col-sm-12" style="box-sizing: border-box; float: left; width: 908.609px; margin-bottom: 20px;"><p style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 16px;">Many of our members are growing increasingly concerned and stressed about the flood of anti-DEI legislation being proposed and/or passed in states such as Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Minnesota, Wisconsin Michigan, Idaho, Ohio, etc. Some organizations in these states are afraid to speak out against the proposed legislation for fear of being put in the spotlight by government officials or anti-DEI groups. DEI consultants working with clients in some of these states have been told not to use the words, diversity, equity or inclusion in the titles of DEI training courses.</span></p><p style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 16px;">In discussions with members, they are looking to get the support of others in these states facing the same issues, and the support of IAC through advocacy, listening sessions and webinars addressing these attacks.
